Five years ago, the Verizon team recognized a desire for greater diversity in the teams creating the brand’s marketing.
With Verizon’s agency teams making up more than half of the full marketing team, work needed to be done both internally and with partners to ensure impact. Committing to efforts internally as well, Verizon made a call to its agency teams to identify opportunities to increase the representation of people of color and women on our teams.
The agencies answered the call to action with a sense of shared purpose, bringing collaborative ideas to the table that continue to drive impact.
This template letter will help create the call for partners to evaluate diversity within their organizations and articulate efforts to ensure there are diverse voices and perspectives in the creative proccess.
